The Utegangar Riding Center is a horse riding stable based on Mahe island, in the Seychelles. It is the only horse riding facility on Mahe and has been in operation since 2003.

We do scenic rides and hacks along the breathtaking west coast of Mahé ranging from one hour trips up to half a day excursions. The rides go along some amazing white sand beaches, tropical rain forest, jungle, mangroves, and a cinnamon forest. We also do romantic Sunset rides as well as excursions to the Grand Anse Waterfall where a dip beneath the waterfall and a picnic may be organized on request.

We also offer introductory rides and riding lessons for children as well as adults.
The centre is open to the public 7 days a week, however we recommend that all bookings be made at least 24 hours in advance.
The horses are pure bred Arabians and we also have several ponies more suitable for children.
At Utegangar the horses are suitable to fit the different riding levels of our clients.

A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Reneé Troian, who has supported this project right from the start, whithout whom we would never have been able to rescue these wonderful horses and who till today shows her immense kindness in permitting us to operate on her beautiful piece of land on the west coast of Mahé.

Barbora, the founder of Utegangar Riding Centre is now happy and very much in love with David Solar. David and Barbora are currently living their "happily ever after..." in the Czech Republic. Barbora misses her horses tremendously and visits them regularly!
